lottery scams.......
yesterday my cousin called me up........after talking nonsense for 5 minutes or so he got reminded ov sumthin more nonsense.....
he had recieved an email dat he has won a lottery........i told him moi experience relating to it......here it is.....
wen i was in 1st year,i recieved an email saying dat u hav won a lottery organised by microsoft......at dat tym i was new to dis networld,so i thot it to b genuine and got excited or rather felt exuberant.........i was sitting in cyber cafe and i immediately called my sis.....she came ova dere and she also thinking of it to b genuine asked me to reply to d mail.......i replied but d address was bogus and sending failed.......
dis was d 1st 1.......
again around 6 months ago,i received an email saying it to b UK NATIONAL LOTTERY and dat i hav won 10 million pounds or sumthin......i knew in moi heart dat it is fake but still i replied to it......
d reply was sent successfully.......den i recieved an email from deir side asking me to provide all my information on d format provided by dem in d mail......i did it.....
den i again recieved a mail dat all moi information has been recorded and i hav to wait for further instructions.......
den on insistance by moi father i called dem on d no. dey had provided in d mail......
and can u believe it.......a person actually attended moi call....i talked to him for 7 odd minutes and he said dat moi money has been transferred to d brokerage firm and i wil b contacted by dem.......i happily put d phone down....
den d mail which is quite popular came........it said dat i wil hav to deposit 37-38000 rs in deir a/c for d carriage and delivery of moi money as it cant b deducted from d money i won.......
d picture became crystal clear den......moi dreams (also of moi family) shattered....and u know wat moi father was still insisting dat i shall cal dem once again and tell dem to deduct d money from moi prize money..........
after listening to me moi cousin 's dreams shattered .......but i still belev dat he would hav replied to d mail thinking dat his lottery can b genuine..(indians r quite optimistic).....

tomorrow is INDEPENDENCE DAY........moi heartiest congratulations and greetings to every1......
i personally give dis day quite an importance.......independence means freedom
so go out guys do watever u want to and if sumbody tries to stop u remind him dat it is INDEPENDENCE DAY and u r free to do anythin......a gud excuse...aint it...
